For professionals
Work that arrives with the question already framed.
EPIP sends you work packages, not job sheets. Each one names the evidence gap it exists to close and shows you what is already on the record — so you are not re-establishing what someone else established two years ago.
Who the network is for
Building, environmental and remediation professionals.
Mould assessors and indoor environmental professionals. Building consultants and building scientists. Occupational hygienists. Plumbers and leak detection specialists. Laboratories. Remediators. HVAC professionals. Canine detection providers.
EPIP does not compete with you. It is the record your work goes into, and the mechanism by which the next person to touch the property can see what you found.
How it works
01
You are assigned a property
Access is explicit and per-property. You see the properties assigned to you and nothing else — not other providers' work, not other clients.
02
A work package explains itself
The package states what is required, which pathway is open, and what evidence is missing. You can read the property's existing record before you attend.
03
You submit structured work
Measurements with method, instrument and location. Reports and photographs. What you ruled out as well as what you found.
04
Your work is attributed
Every observation carries your name and the date. Nothing is absorbed anonymously into the record.
05
EPIP reviews it
Your submission is held as unverified until an EPIP reviewer assesses it. That is not a comment on your work — it is how the platform records who established what.
06
It changes the record
Where your findings close a gap, the property's verification state moves. You can see the effect of the work you did.
What we ask
Compliance
Current professional indemnity and public liability insurance, with expiry recorded. Relevant licences, qualifications and accreditations, documented.
EPIP shows a provider’s insurance state on the record. Cover that is confirmed but undated reads as uncertain, not as current — the same standard the platform applies to every other kind of evidence.
Method
Readings recorded with their method, instrument and location. Control readings where they apply. Documented negatives — what you checked and ruled out.
A reading with no location and no method cannot be relied on eighteen months later, which is exactly when it will matter.
Common questions
Does EPIP take a margin on my work?
Commercial terms are agreed with MouldAI Solutions Australia, which is the contracting entity for work arranged through the platform. What EPIP will not do is let the commercial arrangement influence the finding — the platform determines what investigation is needed from the evidence, before and separately from deciding who should carry it out.
Do I have to use EPIP's forms?
For structured measurements, yes — that is what makes them usable as evidence later. For reports and photographs, you upload your own documents in your own format, and they are kept as originals with your authorship attached.
Can I see other providers' work on a property?
You can see the property's record for properties you are assigned, including prior findings and observations, because working blind to the existing evidence produces worse work. You cannot see other providers' commercial arrangements, and you cannot see any property you have not been assigned.
What happens when my assignment ends?
Access ends with it. Grants carry an expiry and can be revoked, and both take effect immediately. Work you have already submitted stays on the record, attributed to you.
